REI Co-op Flash Hiking Boots
This isn’t your standard-issue hiking boot. The design is a combo trail sneaker and hiking boot. It’s waterproof with a super grippy sole. These boots are comfortable and priced well as part of the REI Co-op brand.
Oversized Sports Sunglasses
Why go with boring, regular, smegular sunglasses for your outdoor activities? Check out these shield mirror specs. They have great reviews for not only how they look, but how they fit and stay on your face.

This is the latest version of my favorite sports action camera. The best part of using a 360 camera to document your adventures is that your can just shoot the action while it’s happening, and select the shots you want later. The Insta360 app also has super fun AI to make a bunch of trick shots that are great for your social media feed.

Sleek, simple, user-friendly. It works seamlessly in 200 countries and can power and fast-charge up to six devices at the same time utilizing the right amount of voltage. All the pros – with x2 USB and x3 USB-C plugs. One down side is it is a bit heavy. But, truly the only plug you need when traveling internationally and sometimes you one get access to one outlet. Can safely charge up to 6 devices at one time.
Packable Poncho
This rain poncho comes in a handy storage pouch and I recommend that you just keep it in your luggage. You’ll never be left out in the rain in your travels because you’ll always have protection. I find it more practical and reliable than an umbrella, which the compact travel-sized ones tend to be flimsy and break easily.
MagSafe Portable Battery
It’s inevitable that you will get your smartphone wet, especially whilst traveling. Even though most of them these days are water resistant – they will not be harmed even by deep immersion into the pool or ocean – the ports on these devices cannot be used until they are fully dry. I’ve found this out a few times when traveling and it’s the worst. With this magsafe charger, I now have a way to charge my phone without using the ports so I never have to be in the position of not being able to charge my phone.
Tide Sink Tablets
When you travel to really humid places, you are going to sweat and stink-up through your clothes quicker than you may predict. So instead of overpacking items for 50 outfit changes, I find packing Tide’s Travel Sink Packets, are a better option. They are designed for hand-washing clothing in the sink.
Travel Sheets
If you are backpacking or staying in rentals or other places you may not be confident in the cleaning protocols…or you may just be a germaphobe, packing your own travel sheets will give you enough peace of mind to get a good night’s sleep no matter where you are. I like bringing this extra barrier layer for sketchy situations, and I totally cocoon myself to feel comfortable enough to rest. It’s light enough to do that even in hot climates, and can act as a mosquito protection as well.
LifeStraw Water Bottle
Whether traveling to a place where the water isn’t potable or spending time in the wilderness, bringing the LifeStraw water bottle is a solid strategy to make sure you can always be hydrated. With this water bottle you can remove the filter when you have drinkable water, but will always be armed with the ability to drink almost any water in any city, country, or random body of water in the middle of nowhere.
Compression Socks
Compression socks are not just for grandma. We all retain water and compression socks help to increase circulation, thus preventing swelling in your lower legs and feet. It’s recommended if you’re on a flight more than 3 hours you should wear them. Lucky for us, I’ve found some cute one to wear.
Travel Toothbrush
I’m a super fan of my Philips toothbrush at home, so this Philips One by Sonicare has been a great one to travel with. It packs all the power to clean my teeth in the way an electric toothbrush does, and the compact case makes it so sleek to pack. Plus, the price makes it a no brainer.
Priority Pass Membership
A great gift for the frequent flyer in your life. Give them access to more than 1,300 airport VIP lounges worldwide. PP sells memberships at three tiers — Standard, Standard Plus and Prestige — for prices ranging from $99 to $399 a year.
**Make sure that if you give a gift at the lower tiers that the recipient is aware they will be required to still pay fees.
**Also note the fine print regarding renewals and extra fees charged to you, should you want just a one-time gift.
Packable Spare Luggage
Paraval Fold-Up Bag is the most chic and durable packable luggage I have come across. (Yes, even more chic than Longchamps, IMO. And definitely more durable.) It’s made of ultra-lightweight, water-resistant Negative Nylon, folds down to the thinest packet that I simply just keep in my bag. It can be used as an everyday duffle, but I prefer it as my emergency extra luggage.
Bluetooth Adapter for Wireless Headphones
No need to give up for special headphones for the cheap wired ones on the airplane. With this Bluetooth adapter you can keep your wireless ones when you want to watch an in-flight movie. The adapter allows you to use the noise-canceling settings and prevents having to be connected by a cord to your seat.
Travel Gift Cards
